Requesting Software - MathType

Some faculty members have expressed interest in using MathType. MathType is a powerful interactive equation editor for Windows and Macintosh that lets you create mathematical notation for word processing, web pages, desktop publishing, presentations, and for TeX, LaTeX, and MathML documents. MathType works with 100s of applications and websites, allowing you to put Equations Everywhere and Anywhere. Information on MathType, by Design Science can be found at:

To best serve the campus community, and to make the most efficient use of limited funds, OIT would like to get feedback on the number of faculty members interested in using MathType so that we can evaluate various academic volume or campus license purchasing options.
