Open Games Lab - Feb. 10

Do you spend hours with your XBox 360 or feel like Nintendo characters are part of your family?

If you are a gamer - console, computer, handheld - Instructional Technology has the event for you!

Join us in the Beck Instructional Lab (lower level, Miller Library) on Tuesday, February 10 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm for our first ever Open Games Lab. We'll be exploring the collaborative and creative aspects of gaming in the education environment. Surprising things happen when we play together, so get in on the fun. Activities will include:
  • Create a celebrity Mii on Nintendo Wii
  • Take on Facebook friends with Lexulous
  • Create Eno-esque beats on the iPhone
  • Clobber coworkers with Wii Sports
  • ...and so much more!
Open Games Lab is free to all campus community members and Instructional Technology will award a prize for the best celebrity Mii! If you are a hardcore or casual player, there's something for you in Beck on February 10. Game on!

Space is limited so get to Beck early to get control of a system!
