Beck Instructional Lab will be busy this afternoon and into this evening! We have the first day of a two day InDesign training series and we will be playing host to the community for Election 2008 returns coverage.

InDesign Workshop

Join us as we learn the basics of using Adobe InDesign for page layout by designing our own magazine covers. Participants will discover what InDesign is, who's using it and then make their own projects. Expert staff will be on hand to offer help and support to all participants.

We'll be taking advantage of images from the 2008 MPC Photography Marathon: Fashion and the resulting covers will be posted up here on the Instructional Technology blog!

Election 2008 Returns

Stop by Beck Instructional Lab from 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm to watch the Election 2008 returns as they happen. You think CNN is fancy with its holograms and touchscreen displays? Come find out what it's like to watch six screens of coverage with surround sound (and snacks!)
