Testing of Emergency Telephones Today

This morning there will be a test of emergency telephones that are capable of broadcasting voice announcements across wide areas of campus. The loudspeaker systems on the phones are powerful and may be heard inside buildings.

The test unit will be moved to various locations on campus so that coverage areas may be ascertained. The testing is part of emergency planning.
