Corey Olsen Sends Storytelling Off In Grand Style

Corey Olsen gave a fascinating talk today on Literature Before the Book at the Rose O'Neill Literary House. While the 50+ attendees nibbled on a delicious lunch, Professor Olsen explored the Medieval way of storytelling. With examples from manuscripts, the audience learned how complex tales were transfered from the page to spoken performance - not unlike scripts.

Professor Olsen's lecture brought the Storytelling in the Digital Age theme at Washington College to a close. From interactive media performances to open house tours to guest lectures, Storytelling in the Digital Age has been a chance to explore the intersection of writing and technology.

Storytelling in the Digital Age was brought to you as a partnership between The Office of Information Technologies and The Rose O'Neill Literary House.
