Oni Buchanan Dazzles With Electronic Verse

Yesterday, Oni Buchanan gave an intimate reading of her innovative poems in the Rose O'Neill Literary House. Oni discussed both digital and analog poetry, sharing examples of work she has created in both paradigms.

Oni has pioneered poetic form by creating origami sculptures and liquid pages of Flash animation. Her "The Mandrake Vehicles" use digital storytelling techniques to expose the poems inside poems (inside poems.) This was truly a unique experience and was a great stop on the Storytelling in the Digital Age schedule.
